The Rescue Boat Crane is designed to ensure the safe and rapid launching of rescue boats in emergency situations.
In the operating position, the crane achieves an outreach of more than 4.9 meters with a safe working load of 2.5 tonnes. With a slewing range of 350°, rescue boats can be launched quickly and safely to recover persons from the water.
After operation, the crane is fully retracted into the ship’s structure and enclosed by an installed GRP cover. This allows the crane to remain flush-integrated and visually unobtrusive within the deck structure, blending seamlessly with the vessel’s design. The in-house developed winch, tested and certified by Lloyd’s Register, ensures the highest levels of safety and reliability.
